3.1.5 - Interaction Performance and Persistence Hotfix - 2026-08-13
Fixed
Reduced world-thread stalls when NPC interaction actions are built. Prompt
actions no longer create unused breeding and taming services, and active
SimpleClaims capability lookups are reused safely until its plugin instance
stops or is replaced.
Reduced idle world-thread load from bonded companion maintenance. Recovery
checks now use a slower fallback cadence, and loaded worlds share one bounded
database maintenance pass instead of repeating it for every world.
Concurrent companion checkpoints during world load no longer make a valid
persistence database enter read-only mode. Capture, release, and exact NPC
state checkpoints remain available after large groups of companions load.
Capturing a retired original companion that reappears now waits for its
exact-state identity reconciliation instead of treating it as a new NPC.
This prevents duplicate companion identities and keeps the saved NPC state
attached to the canonical companion.
Flutes, treat bags, and other command items now repair older linked records
that stored a retired NPC UUID as the profile ID. Recall redirects those
records to the current companion instead of silently finding no target.
