The Combat Safety & Balance Update

Combat Reworked Magic Blade and Magic Bow. Increased the off-class weapon damage bonus from 10% → 20%. Increased Sorcery-to-Weapon conversion from 60% → 75%. Conversion now only uses bonus Sorcery, preventing class and race base stats from contributing to weapon damage conversion. Brawler abilities can now critically strike. Removed Bloodthirster from mob augment pools. Dungeon & Boss Balance Reduced dungeon and boss Defense scaling per level by 20%. Level 1 defense remains unchanged. Applies consistently across all supported dungeons, including imported DLC content such as Warchief, Echo of Icarus, and Souls Like: Nightlord. PvP & Damage Safety Added a new PvP Rules validation layer for direct HP mutation damage. True damage effects, including True Edge, True Bolt, augment true damage, and Death Bomb, now properly respect engine protection. These attacks can no longer damage targets that are: Invulnerable Intangible In invulnerability frames Dead Inside safe zones Unified low-health protection handling across all damage sources. True damage from mobs and bosses can no longer bypass Undying Rage. Leaderboards Expanded the Healing leaderboard into a combined Healing & Shielding leaderboard. Added shield tracking using a dedicated shield delta accumulator. Added a new +Shielding column. Augments Improved augment offer generation. Critical strike restrictions are now fully data-driven. Augment offers now correctly respect CRIT_RESTRICTION, preventing Critical-related stats from appearing on builds that cannot critically strike. Augments that grant Critical stats now automatically mark themselves as Critical-dependent. Improved augment weighting by adding Burn/Life Force role synergy.
