Alec's Coops!

Upgrades vanilla coops with reliable persistent metadata, smoother day/night transitions, and improved command-compatible poultry handling.

What It Adds

• Mob skins, names, attachments, and more persist through capture/release.
• Smoother day/night coop flow (intake and release over time with visual and sound effects instead of instant transitions).
• Mobs only spawn in front of the coop so they don't end up on top of coops or outside of pens.
• Turkeys can use coops.

Managed Coop Authority

When this pack's enabled ACCoopChicken config matches a chicken coop, Tamework is the sole occupancy, capacity, capture, release, schedule, and produce authority for that block. The vanilla Coop_Chicken asset remains useful when Tamework management is unavailable, but Tamework does not mirror a second resident list beside it.

The parallel assets intentionally align capacity (6), roaming hours (6-18), spawn offset (0,0,3), and capture radius (10). Managed capture is intentionally enabled in ACCoopChicken and disabled in the vanilla fallback because Tamework applies explicit role, identity, tame, and owner admission before committing a resident.

On an established save, use Tamework's /tw coop reconcile report before confirming an exact import fingerprint. Exact residents are adopted in place without a replacement spawn; ambiguous evidence stays quarantined for review.
