Japanese Writing
Make a Japanese Writing Table in the Workbench which can craft Hiragana, Katakana and 250+ Kanji characters.
You can place the characters on most blocks in the game to create a wide variety of Japanese signage.
Look at any placed Hiragana or Katakana to learn its phonetic pronunciation in English.
Use them to learn Japanese by naming things and places in your world.
Most JLPT N5 and N4 level Kanjis are available and tell you their common meanings and contextual use.

Installation and Guide.
Place the .zip in your UserData/Mods/ folder
In exploration mode you can craft the Japanese Writing Table from within the Workbench, you'll need some bamboo wood from the Zone 4 Dino Jungle to craft the bench.
In creative mode the mod has a dedicated menu.
I recommend you also download my Japanese Things mod which will allow you to build authentic Japanese props and blocks in creative and survival mode.
