These interface changes come from the accompanying Alec's Tamework update and are part of the new experience for Animal Husbandry players. Update both mods together.
Added effect descriptions to every Animal Husbandry trait tooltip, including the direction and amount of each effect.
Added a Butcher's Knife with a custom cleaver model, hand-painted texture, and matching inventory icon. Craft it at a tier-1 Farmer's Workbench with 2 Iron Bars and 2 Light Leather. Hold primary use for 0.8 seconds to cull an owned, tamed animal.
Added default portraits for all supported animals and refreshed Aures/Celly skin variants with 2,410 curated icons. Capture items and companion panels share portraits that reflect supported appearance variants.
Added Follow Close to both command flutes for the original follow behavior. Follow and non-combat Defend now use compact formations.
Added coordinated wild herd travel for bison, deer, and livestock, with travel and rest phases, local grazing, and bison watering routines.
Added larger, weighted herd sizes and species-specific flying bird flock sizes.
Added species-specific flying formations, including duck chevrons, loose bluebird, crow, and raven flocks, and widely spaced hawks and vultures.
Added extended circling (Kettle) episodes for birds, with individual flight variation and mixed orbit directions. Raptors roam independently between episodes; hawks and vultures also have glide animations.
Added idle ground pecking for crows, pigeons, and small songbirds.
Chickens and desert chickens now drop 1-2 Light Feathers alongside their meat.
Requires Alec's Tamework >=4.0.0 <5.0. Update both mods together.
Completed in-game localization coverage for English, German, Spanish (Spain), French (France), French (Canada), and Brazilian Portuguese. All Animal Husbandry items, roles, talents, traits, commands, interactions, happiness labels, and equipment attachment labels now use translated language keys.
Removed animal talent level gates; talent purchases still use talent points.
Expanded wild flock leaders' home radius from 40 to 80 blocks on the ground and in flight, reducing frequent boundary turns.
