Projectors

Projectors are a magical component that connects with other components to filter its contents to allow or block the transfer of items.

There are currently 3 projectors available

  • Copper Projector
  • Refined Projector
  • Golden Projector

Copper Projector

The copper projector is the most basic one, with a single slot available, allows items to go through when put inside.

Refined Projector

The refined projector has 4 slots available, allows items to go through when put inside.

Golden Projector

The Golden projector is a special projector with 4 slots available that filters by ResourceType. It requires deep knowledge of how the game is made to use it properly. If the given item does not have resource types assigned, it will allow everything to pass through, even in a blocking state.

Upgrades

Projectors can be upgraded by interacting with some items.

Void essence upgrade (Blocking)

When interacting with a Projector with a Void Essence in hand, it will be consumed and the projector will become a blocking Projector, allowing every item to go through but the ones inside it. This also applies to resource type filters and Packager Storage filters.

Lightning essence upgrade (Visibility)

When interacting with a Projector with a Lightning Eseence in hand, the lightning essence will be consumed and the projector will become a hidden projector, hiding the filtered items in the world.

The projector will continue to filter and apply other upgrades, but the filtered item will not be displayed in the world.

When a player looks at a projector affected by this upgrade with the Magic Goggles, the item will be displayed until they stop looking.

Removing upgrades

If you missclicked or want to remove upgrades from a projector to change its settings, you can do it by breaking the projector or interacting with it with a Wrench.

In both scenarios, the upgrades will be dropped and you will recover the essences spent
