The Feed Trough is a care block that helps automate food and hydration support in pens.

What It Does

• Can store food or water to support nearby animals.
• Works well for enclosed pens where natural water placement is awkward.
• The feed/water level will visibly decrease as supply decreases.

Feed Trough Recipe

• 10x Any Wood
• Output: 1
• Crafting station: Farming Bench (Farming category)
• Craft time: 1 second

Bucket Recipe (For Trough Refills)

• 3x Any Wood
• 1x Iron Bar
• Output: 1
• Crafting station: Farming Bench (Farming category)
• Craft time: 1 second

How To Use

1. Place a Feed Trough in your enclosure.
2. Fill the trough.
   • Interact to store food like a normal chest.
   • Right-click with a bucket of water to fill with water.
3. Keep it stocked to keep companions fed and watered.

Usage Tips

• Keep troughs inside fenced pens and close to your animals.
• Don't put troughs against single-height fences or animals may climb out.
