Nametag

The Nametag is provided by Alec's Nametags!, an optional companion mod for Animal Husbandry. Use it to name your tamed livestock and Beasts so your stable and command panel are easier to manage.

Mod Requirement

• Requires Alec's Nametags! to be installed alongside Animal Husbandry and Alec's Tamework.

Crafting

• Crafting station: Animal Husbandry Workbench (Alec's Nametags 1.3.0 or later with Animal Husbandry installed). Without Animal Husbandry, the Nametag is crafted at the Farmer's Workbench.
• Recipe:
  • 2x Light Leather
  • 1x Gold Ingot
• Craft time: 1 second
• Max stack: 100

How To Use

1. Hold a Nametag.
2. Left click a valid tamed companion.
3. Enter a custom name in the naming prompt.
4. Confirm to apply the new name.

Default Rules

• Target must be tamed.
• Naming normally requires ownership.
• Unowned tamed NPCs are also allowed by default config.
• Existing names can be replaced.
• Allowed characters: letters, numbers, spaces.
• Name length: 1 to 24 characters.
• Item is consumed on use.
