Beast Taming Gear

These items are provided by Alec's Tamework and are required for Beast progression in Animal Husbandry.

Item	Use
Glowing Purple Mushroom Spores	Renewable way to grow the mushrooms needed for tranquilizer potions
Tranquilizer Potion	Base sedative used in the tranquilizer crafting chain
Tranquilizer Arrows	Applies tranquilizer pressure during combat
Tranquilizer Shortbow	Delivers tranquilizer arrows during Beast hunts

Beast Command Tool

Item	Use
Combat Beast Flute	Late-game command tool for Beast companions (Tier 6 + Wild Wisteria logs)

Companion Utility

These items are useful for both livestock and Beast management.

Item	Use
Soul Lantern	Captures and re-places a tamed livestock animal or Beast companion
Nametag	Names tamed companions for easier command/control management
Saddles and Blankets	Equips or removes persistent saddles and 20 wool blanket colors, refunding replaced equipment

Suggested Progression

1. Craft the Animal Control Flute and start building your first stable.
2. Move into Beast taming by crafting tranquilizer gear and, once available, setting up Glowing Purple Mushroom spore farming for renewable potion ingredients.
3. Craft the Combat Beast Flute once you unlock Farming Bench Tier 6 and can harvest Wild Wisteria logs.
4. Craft a Soul Lantern when you need to transport or reorganize valuable companions.
5. Apply Nametags to distinguish and organize specific companions.
6. Craft saddles and use colored wool blocks to customize supported owned animals.
