Summoning and Revival
Parent: Companion Guides | Home
The Dragon Command Flute stores the companions you own and controls when they are active. Storage is not the same as death, so learn the difference before spending revival materials.
Active and owned limits
| Companion family | Owned limit | Active limit |
|---|---|---|
| Full dragons | Unlimited | 1 |
| Soulbound Miniwyvern | 1 per player | 1 |
The two active slots are independent: one full dragon and one Miniwyvern can be active together.
Full-dragon summon timing
A full dragon has a five-minute base summon window and a five-minute base cooldown before it can be summoned again. Summoner's Pact talents can extend the window and shorten the cooldown. A dismissed, expired, logged-out, or transferred companion returns to roster storage.
Miniwyvern timing is not listed here. Use the roster's current status instead of planning around an unlisted timer.
Storage versus confirmed death
- Dismissal, expiry, logout, and world transfer store the same companion for later use.
- Confirmed death marks the roster card as needing revival. Do not treat a stored card as a dead companion.
- Revive restores a dead companion to storage. It does not auto-summon; choose Summon after the revival succeeds.
Revival costs
Full dragons use two Revitalizing Essences plus two role-matched essences:
| Full dragon | Revival materials |
|---|---|
| Hydra | 2 Revitalizing Essences + 2 Ice Draconic Essences |
| Nordic Drake | 2 Revitalizing Essences + 2 Ice Draconic Essences |
| Toxic Hydra | 2 Revitalizing Essences + 2 Toxic Draconic Essences |
| Young Rock Drake, Rock Drake, or Frost Rock Drake | 2 Revitalizing Essences + 2 Nature Draconic Essences |
Miniwyvern revival uses one Revitalizing Essence plus one essence that matches its current form:
| Miniwyvern form | Revival materials |
|---|---|
| Wild | 1 Revitalizing Essence + 1 plain Draconic Essence |
| Fire | 1 Revitalizing Essence + 1 Fire Draconic Essence |
| Ice | 1 Revitalizing Essence + 1 Ice Draconic Essence |
| Lightning | 1 Revitalizing Essence + 1 Lightning Draconic Essence |
| Nature | 1 Revitalizing Essence + 1 Nature Draconic Essence |
| Toxic | 1 Revitalizing Essence + 1 Toxic Draconic Essence |
| Void | 1 Revitalizing Essence + 1 Void Draconic Essence |
Open the dead companion's card in the Dragon Command Flute, confirm the listed recipe, and then summon it after the card returns to storage.
